So horrible, I wanted to write more but my mind is coming up blank. I have no idea what to write about regarding this blog or English teaching. It must be the late hour and fatigue from my first time trying out barefoot running.... ON CONCRETE pathways. My feet and legs hurt up to the joints and marrow.
It is no wonder that people need to wear shoes with specialty soles just to walk, jog or run on our modern surfaces. Try walking barefoot on grass and earth and see the difference.
I have heard that what does not kill you will only make you stronger. When it comes to running barefoot on concrete though, most likely such an activity will only cripple you prematurely.
I am currently using Perskindol spray from Sweden. It is quite good. It doesn't have that icky smell that the other muscle ache formulations do, that reminds me of old folks homes and hospices. That smell of wintergreen oil or peppermint makes me want to vomit. Those scents remind me of cold and dark winters that never, ever end. Bleggh.
But anyway my Perskindol spray is just peachy. I don't feel a god-damn thing. I need to walk using my mountain hiking stick and I feel just like Batman in the new movie. I think I will finally go for a foot and leg massage tomorrow. I never go for these things because I fear the manual transmission of athlete's foot fungus and other hideous skin diseases.
